Who's Freddie?

For more than all of our lives, we've listened to music, watched television and some of us, even tuned in on the radio. We know... Crazy! What's a radio?
Entertainment forms our lives in so many ways, we might break up with our boyfriend, or girlfriend, and lay in bed and try to organize our head back into line while listening to heartbreaking songs. Does it help? Yeah, we'd like to say so, 'cause if not, you would be in bed with your own mind, all quiet. And who likes that? The difference is big. Look back at some of the best things you've heard, some of the best parties you've been on, the best movies you've seen, or best series you've streamed without pulling yourself away until you've reached the end. What would we do without it? That's why we're here. To create, to listen and enjoy LIFE.

Anyways, welcome to Freddie Magazine.

We're an online magazine, no papers here. Influenced and inspired to create this magazine with it's lead name; Freddie.

Why Freddie you might ask?

On the 5th of September in 1946, Freddie Mercury was born. As you might know the story, he grew up to be a British singer and songwriter, and went on to achieve worldwide fame and glory as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. He is regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music, with a pulsing, theatrical on-stage persona. His crazy vocal range was out of this world. From his vibrant tenor throat to his high pitched upper reaches, Freddie made history song after song together with Queen.

His technique was outstanding in every way. He lived a life as an extrovert, without a doubt. But he said himself that he was a completely different man on the inside. Nevertheless, he was a performer all through his life. Lots of people also claimed Freddie was openly gay, and many said he was bisexual, it was a lot of thunder around all of this. If he was alive today, we're sure that he would have been more at piece with himself.

We sat around the house, talking back and forth about what might be the name suited for us. We listened to music. Again and again. Every time we stopped at a Queen song. Because every moment in life related to a Queen song with Freddie, is a moment of joy filled with dance, jumping around, sitting in the car with your best mates on a roadtrip, screaming our lunges out with the songs. Songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, Killer Queen, and we could go on. The list is long. Just think about every time you'd want to accomplish greatness, or success, or maybe you've just won a soccermatch, a run, a game - and you put on "We are the Champions" loud and clear. Yeah, you know the feeling. THAT's what we're talking about. That's why Freddie Magazine.

The name of Freddie Magazine is inspired by him. Freddie Mercury. Who he was. What he accomplished and how he made us feel, and makes us feel. It's an appreciaton of him and Queen, and we dedicate ourselves to continue greatness through a part of his name and legacy.

Life comes to life through music.

Thanks for stopping by.
